The NFL fined the New York Giants $150,000 and coach Ben McAdoo $50,000 for using walkie-talkies during their Week 14 win against their division foe, the Dallas Cowboys.

Duke’s Grayson Allen Suspended For Tripping

The Duke Blue Devil’s star guard Grayson Allen has some issues on the court. On December 21st, the 21-year-old intentionally tripped another player resulting in a technical foul and an ejection from the game. It’s the third time the college star and potential NBA player has tripped an opposing player in the past 25 games.

Carr Injured, Playoff-Bound Raiders Turn to Matt McGloin

A dream season turned into a nightmare for the Oakland Raiders on Christmas Eve. Third-year quarterback and potential MVP candidate Derek Carr was rolling over the hapless Indianapolis Colts when the unthinkable happened. With 12 minutes in the fourth quarter, Carr suffered a leg injury (later to be revealed as a broken fibula) and his season was effectively ended.

Patriots Have High Asking Price for Garoppolo

The New England Patriots are hoping that the rest of the league was impressed with the brief glimpses they got of backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Garoppolo started the first two games of the season for the Patriots in place of the suspended Tom Brady and looked solid. He threw four touchdowns and no interceptions in his two starts and had command of the offense. So, how much would teams be willing to bet on Garoppolo with such a small sample size?
